#1 USA Today Ad Meter 2020 – Bill Murray wakes up to find himself back in Groundhog Day, 27 years later. Except this time, things are different. True, he is reliving the same day over again and again and again, but this time, he’s got a new ride, a brand new 2020 Jeep Gladiator and he’s ready to take it for a spin (or many). The spot reimagines the beloved movie’s premise, brings back original cast members and takes place in the same town the original movie was filmed back in 1993. In this updated version, Bill Murray’s character, Phil Conners, comes to peace with his situation because, “NO DAY IS THE SAME IN A JEEP GLADIATOR”
